How it works, step by step.

Supervisor and trainee both work the assignment. Participation is recorded per file, with inspection and report participation tracked separately.
- 02The trainee works the order
Field, comps, URAR drafting. Role permissions decide what each person can do — a trainee cannot approve their own work.
- 03The trainee logs hours
By category — inspection, report, research, review, training — against the file and the date worked. Logging submits the entry to the supervisor's queue.
- 04The supervisor decides
Each entry is approved or rejected with a required reason. Self-approval is blocked by database triggers, not just hidden in the UI.
- 05The transcript exports
A date-ranged archive of approved hours: manifest, CSV, JSON, README. A generic transcript — not any state's official form.

We built the recordkeeping half properly — the hours, the approvals, and a clean transcript of what happened. The judgment, the supervision, and the state paperwork remain the supervisor's.
